This elevated treatment pairs SkinPen® microneedling with a topical application of ariessence pure PDGF+® immediately after microneedling is complete. The formulation combines recombinant PDGF-BB with hyaluronic acid and is designed to support post-treatment recovery while enhancing the skin-rejuvenation process. Your Treatment Plan
- Pause retinoids, exfoliating acids, and other potentially irritating active skincare for three to five days before your appointment, or as directed by your provider.
- Avoid tanning and excessive sun exposure in the days leading up to treatment. Please arrive without a sunburn or significant skin irritation.
- Let us know if you have an active breakout, cold sore, rash, open area, or infection near the treatment area, as your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
- Tell us if you are currently taking or have recently taken isotretinoin, commonly known as Accutane, or if you have a history of cold sores.
- Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup, lotion, and other skincare products.
- SkinPen® microneedling is not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Your skin will be carefully cleansed, and a topical numbing cream will be applied before treatment begins.
- Using the SkinPen® device, controlled microchannels are created across the treatment area. Treatment depth is adjusted based on your skin, the area being treated, and your individual goals.
- When selected, ariessence pure PDGF+® is applied topically immediately after the microneedling treatment is complete.
- Temporary redness, warmth, or sensitivity is expected immediately afterward. Most appointments take approximately 45 minutes to one hour, including numbing time.
- Keep the treated skin clean and avoid touching, rubbing, or picking at the area.
- Redness, warmth, tightness, and sensitivity similar to a mild sunburn are expected for the first 24 to 48 hours. Mild dryness or flaking may continue for several days as the skin renews.
- Avoid makeup for 24 hours, then use only gentle, fragrance-free skincare while the skin is healing.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, swimming, saunas, and excessive heat for 24 to 48 hours.
- Minimize sun exposure following treatment and wear broad-spectrum SPF daily once you resume your normal skincare routine.
- Pause retinoids, exfoliating acids, and other active skincare until the skin has fully healed, typically about five to seven days.
- Results develop gradually as the skin remodels. A series of treatments spaced approximately one month apart is often recommended based on your skin concerns and goals.
